Easy driving from anywhere or if you are travelling from the west side of the country ...
Use the motorway network to travel to the end of the M67, take the A57 through Woolley Bridge and Brookfield, turn right before the railway viaduct (map) onto the A626 through Gamesley to Charlesworth. Follow this through the centre and Woodseats Lane is on the right a few hundred yards beyond the junction with Town Lane and Long Lane (map).
Cross country or travelling from the east side of the country ...
Take the M1 to junction 37. Take the A628 through Penistone, cross the wild moors and drop into Tintwhistle. At Hollingworth take the A57 through Woolley Bridge and Brookfield, turn right before the railway viaduct (map) onto the A626 through Gamesley to Charlesworth. Follow this through the centre and Woodseats Lane is on the right a few hundred yards beyond the junction with Town Lane and Long Lane (map).
Alternatively, if you are coming from the south on the M1, exit at junction 29, through Chesterfield onto the A619 to Baslow, the A 623 to Chapel-en-le-Frith, the A624 through Hayfield to Glossop. Exit Glossop northbound on the A57 and turn left just after the railway viaduct (map) onto the A626 through Gamesley to Charlesworth. Follow this through the centre and Woodseats Lane is on the right a few hundred yards beyond the junction with Town Lane and Long Lane (map). |
